When collecting the vehicle, you will need a credit or debit card registered to the main driver.

Credit cards:

American Express, Diners Club, Master Card, Visa.

Debit cards:

Debit card rental may in some cases require the purchase of additional insurance at a cost of 30 euros per day.

The rental through debit cards involves the withdrawal of the amount. At the end of the rental period and subject to the case studies that involve the partial or total withholding of the sum withdrawn, the amount of the security deposit will be re-credited by bank transfer by the rental operator.

It will be necessary to provide, at the time of collecting the vehicle, the details (IBAN code and BIC code) for the crediting of the sum withdrawn.

From the amount reimbursed the amount of 5.00 € will be withheld, as a cost for the operation, for transfers made to Italian or European IBANs and a cost of € 15.00 for extra European transfers.

The delivery of the car to customers who do not have a credit card will be subject to the unquestionable judgment of the bank operator.

Cash and / or checks are NOT accepted.

Always check that the credit card has sufficient availability at the time of rental. The amount blocked generally corresponds to the deductible / deposit and fuel, but varies depending on the size of the vehicle, the age of the driver, the bank operator, the duration of the rental and the place of collection of the vehicle.

In the event that an accepted payment instrument is not presented, or if it does not have sufficient availability, the desk operator may refuse to deliver the vehicle. In these cases, no reimbursement will be made of the advance paid.

Deposit amount

When collecting the booked vehicle, it will be necessary to deposit a sum to cover the excess applicable to the reduction of liability for damages (CDW), reduction of liability for theft (TP). This amount can be blocked only by credit card registered to the main driver.

Credit cards:

This sum will be released at the end of the rental if all the rental conditions have been met.

Debit cards:

The amount will be withdrawn and returned by bank transfer at the end of the rental, except for cases involving the partial or total withholding of the sum withdrawn.

The amount of the security deposit varies according to the vehicle group:

- € 300 for group A, A2, B, C, D (Fiat 500, Fiat 500 Aut, Fiat Panda, Citroen C3, Volkswagen Golf or similar);

- € 500 for group F, S, SW (Citroen C4 Picasso, Opel Astra SW, Peugeot 308 SW Aut. Or similar).

Cancellation terms

A penalty called 'No Show / Lost Rental Charge' (corresponding to the advance paid at the time of booking) will be applied where the vehicle is not delivered by the hire attendant due to collection requested after the agreed date and time, or where the vehicle it is not delivered because the rental conditions set out in the terms and conditions (including lack of the required documentation or lack of sufficient plafond for the management of the security deposit, etc.) are not met, or where the cancellation arrives after the booking time.

Age of the driver

19 to 80 years.

For drivers between the ages of 19 and 20 a young driver surcharge (Young Driver) of € 28.00 per day will be applied.

For drivers between the ages of 21 and 22 a young driver surcharge (Young Driver) of € 20.00 per day will be applied.

The supplement for young drivers is not included in the rental price. It is paid in local currency at the car rental office.

Driving license

When collecting the booked vehicle, drivers must have a valid valid driver's license for at least 1 year, and must not have committed serious traffic offenses.

A valid International Driving License (IDL - International Driving License) will be required if the original driving license does not have Roman characters but, for example, Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese, etc.

The international driving license must be accompanied by the driver's original driving license. The owners of licenses issued in the United Kingdom must present, at the time of rental, the card with the photo and the corresponding paper part.

Identity document

It will be necessary to present a valid ID card for all citizens belonging to the European Union.

For all citizens NOT belonging to the European Union it will be necessary to present, in addition to an identity document, also the valid Passport.

The documents must always be in the original, not deteriorated, legible and valid.

Insurance covers included

Limitation of Damage Liability (CDW):

This protection is applied to people transported in the hired vehicle, partially covers any damage to the vehicle and is subject to the terms of the rental agreement. It reduces the driver's liability to a set amount (called a deductible).

Limitation of Liability (TP):

This protection limits the driver's liability against theft or attempted theft but does not cover the theft of personal property. The liability will be adjusted to the amount of the deductible and is subject to the terms of the rental agreement.

Civil Liability (RCA):

Vehicles are covered by RCA - Third Party Liability Insurance.

Road assistance

Roadside assistance is guaranteed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In the event that roadside assistance becomes necessary due to a vehicle fault caused by the driver, the cost of the driver will be charged to the driver.

Taxes included in the rates

Tax rate (VAT).

Airport / railway taxes.

Fuel

Full / Full:

The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank.

In the event that the customer does not deliver the vehicle with the full, in addition to the missing fuel, he will be charged a penalty for the refueling service.

Mileage

Rates include unlimited mileage.

Administrative fees

Damages to the car will be charged by the rental center upon return, and an administrative fee will be charged for damages to be added to the amount deducted from the excess.

In the event of fines, the driver will be subject to the payment of an administrative fee to be added to the amount of the fine.

Vehicle collection

The vehicle must be picked up at the time agreed at the time of booking.

After this time, the rental center will not guarantee its availability.

We invite you to always notify the rental center in case of delay.

Return of the vehicle

The rental vehicle must be returned on the day and within the time indicated on the rental contract.

In case of further delay, the rental center must be informed. This delay could generate additional costs.

No refund will be provided if a rental ends before the date indicated on the rental agreement.

Type of vehicle

The vehicle displayed and the models listed are the most common ones used by our rental partners.

We cannot guarantee that the brand or model of the rented vehicle is the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.

Voucher

Upon arrival at the rental office it will be necessary to present the voucher.

Attention: Automotive Solution declines any liability for any surcharges in the event that the voucher is not presented to the desk operator when the vehicle is collected. In these cases no reimbursement is foreseen.

Accessories and extras

Additional and extra accessories must be requested at the time of booking or communicated to the rental center. These are not included in the rental price and will be paid upon collection.

The prices of these are managed directly by the rental company which reserves the right to make changes without notice.

Additional accessories and any special equipment are subject to availability, which can only be guaranteed by the pick-up rental center.

Out of hours surcharge

For pick-up and return of cars outside the office opening hours, there is a supplement for "after hours" which will be applied as follows:

- € 43.87 per car, applied within 1 hour after the office closes

- € 99.06 per car, applied starting 1 hour after the office closes.
